Handball: the signal and the noise

How to interpretate the data and graphics that are produced for a handball competition?

Let's will see an example for the handball match Veszprem - Kiel of 16/10/2016

If we consider the full match, withouth filters, this is the attacking networks graphic:
We see so many arrows (noise) at this "full match" graphic.
Even that, we realize that there are not back-wings connection at Veszprem and just only one counterattack at Kiel, as well as pivot importance for Hungarians and balanced distribution for Germans

What happens if we try to "tune in" the interpretation of the match?
We have now the graphic just for the "equaliaty situations 7x7 and 6x6.
Now we have more concrete information: Veszprem's Letf back playmakes usually but don't shoot and Kiel pass the ball rarely to the right side in this "equal number situations"

For "Man Extra" situations, we found another teams approach:
At 7x6 situations, the "starring" at Kiel is the left back, that participates in all the Man Extra goals, playing with wings and center-back.
Veszprem combines between back players and counterattack once, not exploding wings for positional majorities as expected

And finally, what are the ways to attack at "Minority" situations for both teams?
It is curious that the only goal scored for Veszprem from left back position was the final goal that decides the match in a difficult set-piece man down... this is one of the amazing characteristics of team sports.
The focus of Kiel in this man down attacks is on center-back

To filter the numerical situations could be the first "tuning" approach to convert noise to signal at handball analysis
